The second edition of Hands-on Residency featured Iman Sidonie-Samuels, Kenneth Greiner, Narelle Dore, and the collective Maryam Bin Bishr, Nuhaila AlHemeiri, and Salma Hani Ali. Their practices converge around an attentiveness to material, memory, and gesture, exploring how presence is shaped through acts of care, making, and engagement. Working across varied media, the artists foreground the overlooked - objects, spaces, and processes - as carriers of social, ecological, and ancestral narratives, where meaning emerges through interaction and transformation.
