BIOGRAPHYCristina Masturzo is an art historian and critic, art market specialist, art writer, and lecturer. Since 2017, she has been teaching Art Economics and Valorization of Collections in the Academic Master in Contemporary Art Markets at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan, where she has served as Course Leader since 2024.
She has been visiting lecturer from 2022 to 2024 at Istituto Marangoni in Florence, in the mayor of art market, marketing, and communication. Between 2023 and 2026, she also lectured at the LUM University School of Management in Milan.
Since 2018, she has been Chief Editor and a contributor in the art market area for Artribune Magazine, where she has been curating the Incanti weekly newsletter since 2023.
In 2020, she was among the coordinators of the Forum dell'Arte Contemporanea Italiana (Italian Contemporary Art Forum). She collaborates with NABA's Visual Arts Department (Milan and Rome) and works as a freelance researcher and editor on projects focused on the contemporary art system and independent editorial initiatives. Her writing has been published in magazines, industry reports, books, and exhibition catalogues.
