Hands-on Residency is a two-month online programme that supports creatives through the development of artistic research and professional practice. Open to artists from diverse backgrounds, the residency offers a structured yet adaptable framework that enables participants to advance their work within their own contexts while engaging in an international and collaborative learning environment.
The programme combines collective seminars led by established artists and art professionals with individualised mentoring tailored to each participant’s practice. Core areas of focus include the articulation of artistic research, professional sustainability, alternative modes of exhibition, and critical positioning within the contemporary art ecosystem. The residency concludes with a group exhibition at Apsara Studio in London in April 2026, providing a professional platform for the presentation of projects developed during the programme and fostering visibility and engagement within the wider art community.
