BIOGRAPHYLetizia Agostini is an independent curator, writer, and founder of Hands-on, a learning and curatorial platform dedicated to visual art, cultural practices, and critical exchange, operating across online and offline formats.
Based between Italy and the UK, Agostini’s practice focuses on curating exhibitions, developing educational initiatives, and leading editorial projects that connect artists with the international creative ecosystem. Through Hands-on, Agostini develops institutional programmes that encourage knowledge-sharing and interdisciplinary engagement, exploring contemporary art as a catalyst for learning, research, and collective reflection.
Agostini has worked across galleries, art consultancy businesses, and contemporary art platforms, including Martina Simeti, 50 Golborne, KO Art&, Ed Cross Fine Art, and OMENAI. With a particular interest in artistic dialogue, she has contributed to the development of exhibitions and projects with emerging and established artists including Laetitzia Campbell, Shooq AlShawi, Curtis Talwst Santiago, Freya Bramble- Carter, Emo de Medeiros, and Jasmine Gregory. Her work is informed by a commitment to collaboration, intellectual inquiry, and the creation of accessible spaces for artistic discourse.
She holds a Master's degree in Contemporary Art Markets from NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan, and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage from the University of Bologna.
