Images and authority negotiate how memory, myth and knowledge take form, while friction opens space for ideas that resist singular readings. As a methodology, (un)learning friction traces where authority gathers, shifts, frays and changes hands.

The exhibition examines how power operates through three distinct registers: seeing, knowing, and interpreting. Spanning painting, sculpture, sound and ceramics, the works position both medium and domestic space as autonomous agents where physical scale, intimacy and materiality actively construct the discourse.

Familiar narratives fracture on the surface as archival and personal imagery move away from expected representational functions. Interpretation no longer seeks a final answer; instead it invites somatic engagement through physical proximity, acoustic frequency and spatial residue.

(un)learning friction inhabits the moment before meaning hardens. At the threshold of recognition; it remains suspended, leaving room for re/encountering.
