VERONA SHI
Verona Shi (b. 2000, China) is an artist based in Hong Kong and London. She graduated with a BA in Ceramic Design from Central Saint Martins in 2024 and is currently pursuing an MA in Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art.
Verona is recognised for her innovative approach to ceramics, where she experiments with glaze to create tactile surfaces that reveal the intricate beauty of nature. Her work serves as a portal to the natural world, encouraging viewers to reconnect with its rhythms and fragility. Through her practice, she reflects on the delicate relationship between humans and the environment, promoting ecological awareness and sustainable methods.
Her artistic achievements include being shortlisted for the 2024 Global Creative Graduate Showcase and nominated for the 2025 Crea Open Special Mention, acknowledging the strength of her research. Her recent exhibitions include Nature’s Metronome with Hands-on (London) and the Swanfall Art Annual Exhibition at The Mall Galleries (London).
